County house reps discuss work at Chamber legislative update

In addition to the Shelby County senators’ updates, two of Shelby County’s house representatives gave updates on the bills they’re working on during the Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Update lunch Friday afternoon.

Representatives Robb Greene (R-Shelbyville) and Jennifer Meltzer (R-Shelbyville) are “freshmen,” meaning it is their first year serving. Greene’s district includes Moral, Van Buren, Sugar Creek, Brandywine, Marion, Hendricks and Jackson Townships in Shelby County, as well as some Johnson County Townships.

Meltzer’s district includes Addison (which includes Shelbyville), Union, Shelby, Liberty, Washington and Noble Townships, about half of Decatur and Bartholomew Counties and a small portion of Jennings County.
