On Call: Shelby Co. Volunteer Fire Departments face volunteer shortages

If you’re out in the county and suddenly there’s a fire, who do you call?

Probably one of the eight Shelby County Volunteer Fire Departments.

The volunteer departments are located in Waldron, Morristown, Marietta, St. Paul, Flat Rock, Fountaintown, Fairland, and Moral Township.

In addition to the eight in-county departments, there are two out of county ones – Manilla and Needham – that are able to respond to calls from Shelby County.

Over the next few weeks, TSN will spotlight each department.
